Now search for the show or movie you want to watch, either by scrolling through Apple's recommendations on the app's home screen, by searching under the "MOVIES," "TV SHOWS," or "SPORTS" buttons at the top, or by using the search tool at the bottom-right of your screen.  Once you find something you want to watch, tap on it. You will now, depending on the content you chose, be prompted to start an Apple TV+ trial or to get the app needed to watch the selected content.  If you already have the app, you will be given the option to pair it and begin watching immediately.   Related coverage from Tech Reference: * How to update apps on your Apple TV in 2 different ways * How to reset your Apple TV device in 3 different ways * Yes, you can watch live TV on your Apple TV — here's a guide to the best apps for watching live television * How to get to the App Store on your Apple TV device, if it has one * How to turn off subtitles on your Apple TV or edit their appearance SEE ALSO: The best media streaming sticks and devices Join the conversation about this story » NOW WATCH: What makes 'Parasite' so shocking is the twist that happens in a 10-minute sequence
